About Lee Drafting

I'm Shannon Lee Williams. 

For more than 20 years, I've been helping homeowners and contractors turn ideas into clear, accurate construction plans throughout El Dorado County and the surrounding area.

My journey into drafting didn't begin in a classroom. It started by working in construction, studying drafting books from the library, and developing a genuine passion for residential design. That hands-on experience gave me an appreciation for how buildings come together - not just on paper, but in the real world.

Today, I provide drafting services for a wide variety of residential projects, including new homes, additions, remodels, ADUs, garages, shops, decks, and permit-ready construction drawings. Whether it's a large custom home or a smaller project, I enjoy helping clients bring their vision to life.

I believe good drafting is built on accuracy, clear communication, and a collaborative process. From our first conversation through the final construction documents, I work closely with my clients, engineers, and consultants to ensure the plans are thorough, practical, and ready for the next step.

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing a set of drawings become a finished home or building. Knowing that I helped transform someone's ideas into something real never gets old.

I've lived in El Dorado County for most of my life and enjoy painting, hiking, and fishing when I'm away from the drafting table. Those interests have given me an appreciation for the beauty of our local area and the unique character of the homes built here.
